Waste Management
The company uses waste resource utilization as a management strategy, replacing the existing end-of-pipe treatment model with recycling and reuse, turning waste into useful resources. Recyclable waste is stored in the factory for future recycling. Waste that is assessed as being unable to be reused in manufacturing will be entrusted to a qualified waste disposal operator for incineration in accordance with the "Business Waste Storage, Removal and Disposal Method" and the "Waste Disposal Act". Lianyou Metal's total waste volume in 2019 and 2020 was 14 metric tons and 19 metric tons respectively. The waste tracked was mainly general industrial waste. The significant increase in the amount of waste in 2020 is mainly due to increased production.
